At Gladys Giving Foundation, we believe in the transformative power of kindness. Gladys Giving Foundation is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving low-income families and underserved youth across the North, South, and West sides of Chicago. Since 2020, the organization has relied solely on community donations, in-kind support, and small fundraisers to operate programs and outreach efforts. To date, the organization has not received grant funding and currently operates with less than $500 in available funding while continuing to serve more than 1,000 families annually.
We have built its impact around direct community support, volunteer engagement, and resource distribution for underserved families and individuals in the Chicago area. The organization’s work has focused on providing essential items, educational support, healthcare products, holiday giving initiatives, and family-centered community programs designed to strengthen stability and dignity for those facing hardship.
